Natalie loves the power and trust that comes with being a base and the thrill of tumbling across the mat. She’s proud to lift her teammates, literally, and be their foundation. Cheer gives her confidence, strength, and pure joy. She loves the challenge, the team spirit, and that feeling when everyone hits a routine together. It’s her favorite place to grow, shine, and have fun.
Natalie is inspired by her teammates who give it their all and never quit, and by her coach who pushes her to grow with encouragement and tough love. She looks up to the strong bases and powerful tumblers who lead with confidence and always show up full-out. Their strength, support, and teamwork motivate her to be her best every time she steps on the mat.
One moment that makes me proudest is when Natalie left her competitive gym and rec cheer program in Georgia, moved to Virginia, and joined two brand-new teams. Despite all the changes, she stayed positive, worked hard, and quickly found her place. Her ability to adapt, make new friends, and succeed in new programs showed amazing courage and resilience. It’s a true testament to her love for cheer and strong spirit.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
