My favorite aspect of softball is playing with my team. The sport has given me life-long lessons, connections, and friendships. It’s also been an amazing opportunity to learn from others, lead others, and grow as an individual and an athlete.
My parents have inspired me. Through this sport, my parents have instilled confidence, taught me leadership skills, and encouraged me to walk with God on and off the field.
I’m proud that through my years in softball (and basketball) I’ve stayed with the same team. Some seasons we lost. Some seasons we were national champions. But, either way, I believe there is value in staying with a team, growing together through trials, and honoring your commitments to a group of athletes. I’m so proud of the teams I’ve worked with and had the privilege to serve.
