My dad. He put me into Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling as a young child. Once Covid came I gained a lot of weight. My dad took me to a new gym and I started to train. He would leave work early just so I could get to my classes.
Overcoming getting beaten. My 1st ever JJ tournament I did not make the podium. I’m fact, my 1st 4 tournaments I didn’t make the podium. But I never gave up and I kept moving forward after I got knocked down. Now I am one of the best in my weight division around the world.
