Thank you for generously supporting Nathan in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
He loves the competition, the team building, the athletics behind each sport he plays and the opportunity to go further in each sport to possibly have a future or career in it. He just loves to be apart of something. And he enjoys helping others in sports as well become the best they can be.
Nathan looks up to many NHL players and his karate masters. His parents also play spots and I think he draws a lot of strength and support from knowing people who actually played sports.
There are so many but when Nathan qualified and achieved his black belt in karate I had never been so proud of him. He is only 11 yrs old and He had worked so hard for 4 years straight every week with practices. He was determined to make it all the way and he did. He is a perfectionist and it shows on how hard he works, he never quiets. For his age he has achieved more than most adults have. He plans to go as far as he can in ice hockey as well with possible future career in the NhL;
