You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
When it comes to playing football and lacrosse, Nathan loves making friends from different schools and backgrounds; he loves the discipline and leadership while working together as a team to achieve a common goal. He understands that he can't win every game, and views losing as a learning experience in coping with all situations on and off the field.
Nathan is inspired by many people. He admires his brothers, Kendall and Christopher. They both work hard and try their best in everything they do. They are supportive and keep him motivated to do his very best. Granny inspires him to keep God first in everything he does because with God all things are possible. His coaches inspire him to be the best version of himself by opening up and trying different positions and techniques.
There are so many proud moments that it's hard to pick just one. The moment Nathan scored 7 goals in one game with lacrosse, only made him want to work harder to exceed for more the next game. His first touchdown had me crying and smiling at the same time. I'm proud of how well he works to motivate and encourage his team to stay focused and work hard. His encouragement not only stays on the field, but is also very present in school with his peers.
