Nathaniel loves being on the mat, either practicing, going live with his partner to tournaments. He always loves a challenge and he made not always win, but he just loves everything about wrestling.
His biggest inspiration are his coaches. The wrestling club he is part of is a family of wrestlers and currently 2 of his coaches sons are attending a D1 university with a full ride thanks to wrestling. They were his coaches right before they went off to college, so Nathaniel sees himself in them and inspires him to push himself every single day to hopefully go to college on a wrestling scholarship.
So many moments to count, but for me his biggest moment was when Nathaniel went to a National Tournament in Oklahoma earlier this year, never having attended any National Tournament he came home with 1st place in his weight class. As a family of 4, only his dad was able to go with him, and I was able to watch him live on an app, I was able to see him win. This was the first time I saw my son shed tears of joy, of what he had accomplished. It was truly a win for all of us seeing him on the podium
