What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Nathan loves most is the unpredictability of the sport. He never knows who he will end up fighting after he weighs in for his division due to random selection or seeding. The adrenaline rush while he is in the ring formulating tactics, finding openings and weaknesses of the opponent and planning strategies during the fight has the most rewarding feeling when it all comes together to achieve the win round by round, event after event and the satisfaction that all the hard work and training pays off

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Nathan is inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo both on and off the field due to his self discipline with his diet, training with the team, training on his own, helping his teammates, first one to arrive and the last one to leave practice, honors his mother and family, all hearted helpful, God centered, always have a target goal and plan strategies for the upcoming games.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The one moment that makes me proudest of Nathan was during the 2024 Dracula Open in Bucharest Romania last Oct 2024. For the past 6 weeks before the event he pulled his hamstrings during practice beginning of Sept and he would do his rehab exercises on the side while watching his teammates spar. He developed a different fighting style to the event and won the gold medal with 40 participants in Europe, defeating top 3 seeds of the European Cadet Ranking.
