Despite having a hearing impairment, my son Nazario went out and gave his very best. His last game he hit an in the field homeroom.

He loves the competitiveness, knowing that everyone on the field is out doing their best to win. He is a team player and loves helping the younger kids by assisting them when he can. He is always the loudest on the field telling the boys where to go with the ball.
Nazario is inspired by his uncle and cousins. They all play baseball/ softball and they love watching each other play. Nazario gets a lot of coaching help from them, and he always talks about hitting the ball over the fence like one of them.
The in the park home run. He was so excited and to see him so happy was definitely worth the waiting through practices, having dirt blown on you from the fields, battling the heat, over spending at concession stands. That moment mad everything so worth it. So much so we signed up for next year lol!
