What I love most about watching him play is knowing he’s representing something bigger than himself. Every play he make, every song that is played up to bat - it all matters. It’s not just about talent, it’s about heart. He’s committed because he knows his passion speaks louder than words. This game is where he can show who he is, what we believe in, and who he plays for.
He gives all the credit to Jesus, he says Jesus is the one who helps him play. And he always mentions me, his momma, because he knows I’m right there cheering him on, praying for him, and believing in him every step of the way.
It’s his heart posture that moves me most. He knows that one day he may or may not go pro: but despite the odds, he’s committed to giving it everything he’s got. He plays with passion, purpose, and faith, trusting that if he honors God with his effort, the Lord will work out the rest.
