Niko loves the thrill of racing, especially the speed and adrenaline rush. He thrives on the competition, pushing himself to beat personal records and improve lap times. The challenge of perfecting each turn, staying focused under pressure, and the sense of accomplishment after a well-fought race is what drives him the most. Plus, meeting other young drivers and being part of the racing community fuels his passion even more.
Kimi Antonelli is a huge inspiration for Niko. Starting young and already making waves in motorsport, Kimi's rise from karting to being in F1already, shows that with dedication, talent, and hard work, dreams can become reality. His mental toughness, discipline, and focus, at such young age, on and off the track are qualities my son looks up to as he strives for greatness in go-karting and beyond. Antonelli proves that age is no barrier to achieving success in racing.
One moment that makes me incredibly proud was at last year’s Canadian National Championship in Hamilton, Ontario. Niko had a tough start — chasing the right setup, not qualifying well, and even spinning off after another driver brought water and dirt onto the track. Despite all that, he didn’t give up. In the final, he fought hard, climbing from 19th back up to finish 8th. His resilience and determination in the face of adversity really showed me his true character and passion for racing.
