Having the honor and ability to represent our country while doing what he loves at the highest levels around the world and all that comes with it. Such as building global friendships among peers and other passionate hockey players and families all over the world.
Niko is inspired to always represent himself in a successful light. No matter how much success he may have in his own physical results, he believes that the greater inspiration is to appreciate and help grow the sport as well as give back by supporting others, and remaining mindful of those who may be less fortunate, such as other children who may never be able to play sports or experience similar for any reason.
Although gratefully there are several from witnessing his first World Medal placed around his neck, to receiving numerous well earned awards, in 2024 Niko's hockey performance helped raise significant proceeds for a local youth cancer beneficiary as shown in one of his profile photos. This great deed was featured & recognized in NEWSDAY. This is one of many examples of leadership Niko has continued throughout his journey.
