She loves the intensity of the competition and how it constantly pushes her to grow, not just as an athlete, but as a person. The court is her escape, where everything else fades away and she finds a sense of peace and purpose. Playing brings her clarity, focus, and confidence in a way nothing else does.
Nimrat is deeply inspired by Kobe Bryant. His “Mamba Mentality” showed her that greatness isn’t just about talent it’s about mindset, discipline, and how you handle adversity. She looks up to the way he approached the mental side of the game always learning, always locked in and she tries to carry that same approach in everything she does, both on the court and in life.
One of the proudest moments in Nimrat’s journey was when she earned her spot at prep school. It represented not just her talent, but her commitment, work ethic, and belief in herself. It was a big leap forward in her basketball path, and it showed us, and her that her dreams are real and within reach
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
