What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing volleyball is the fast-paced energy, the teamwork, and the constant challenge to improve. I also enjoy the connection with teammates, the strategy involved in every play, and the excitement of competition. Volleyball gives me a space to grow as both an athlete and a leader, and I truly love the feeling of working hard together as a team toward a common goal.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom inspires me the most. On and off the court, she shows me what strength, dedication, and love look like. She supports me through every win and loss, pushes me to be my best, and reminds me to stay grounded and humble. Her work ethic and belief in me motivate me to keep going, even when it gets tough. She’s my biggest fan and my role model. Especially since she played at the collegiate level as well and was one of the best players on her team.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that makes me proudest is when she earned a spot on varsity as a freshman. Competing with older, more experienced players wasn’t easy, but she stepped up with confidence, maturity, and a strong work ethic. Not only did she hold her own—she stood out. Earning First Team All-District as a freshman proved their talent, dedication, and impact on the court. It was a proud moment that showed she’s just getting started
