Receive Text UpdatesThe grind. Pushing himself everyday to get better. It's where he feels most himself. He thrives on the challenge. Whether it's perfecting new moves, or battling through a tough game. He also loves being part of a team, competing, and learning from every win or loss. But, above all, he loves the game because it gives him purpose. It's not just a sport, it's his passion, his outlet, and his dream.
His dad. Even though his dad never played the game himself, he's been there. Every step of the way the early morning trainings the late night shooting practices always showing up and always cheering him on. His dad, led by example, the dedication he shows in his own life waking up early for work, giving a 100% to everything he does never making any excuses, has left a lasting impression on my son.
It wasn't a buzzer beater shot, a championship win or having a standout performance. It was something much more. Watching him become the best version of himself through the game he loves. His love of the game drives him, and that's the moment I'm most proud.
