What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves being part of team that becomes a bond of family that will fight together no matter what the results are. Win as team lose as a team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I am going to say me his father. I am hard on him and I push him to be the best player he can be because he has been on the low end of things in the past but pushing and pushing him has made him a better player and person and a leader for his team.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I would say this past two years. I threw him on 1st base last season with no experience at all. There were some struggles but he kept working and working and this season he was almost automatic at 1st base. He never let pressure get to him at one of the harder positions in baseball. His stats also made me so proud. 14 games AVG. 763, OBP.784, OPS. 1.966, SLG.1.182, 15 Runs, 17 RBI, and 14 of 14 on SB. This boy is my HERO!!!!!!
