What he loves most about football and wrestling is the challenge and the competition. Football gives him the thrill of being part of a team, working together to achieve a common goal, while wrestling pushes him individually to be mentally and physically tough. He thrives on the discipline, the adrenaline, and the constant drive to improve. Both sports teach him resilience, leadership, and how to overcome obstacles—lessons he carries with him every day.
He is inspired by his teammates who he has been playing sports with since he was in flag football all the way into high school. He is also inspired by his father and mother who work hard to support him and his siblings and has been there for every single game and practice supporting him in any way possible.
One of my proudest moments was watching my son win a tough wrestling match after being down in points. He dug deep, stayed focused, and came back to pin his opponent in the final seconds. His determination, resilience, and never-give-up attitude showed the kind of athlete—and person—he's becoming. It proved that all his hard work, discipline, and heart truly pay off, and it reminded me why I’m so proud of him every single day.
