Olivia loves the freedom she feels on the ice, gliding, spinning, and expressing herself through movement. She enjoys the challenge of learning new skills, the excitement of competing and the friendships she builds with fellow skaters. Most of all she loves how skating pushes her to grow stronger, stay resilient and always get back up with a smile.
Olivia is inspired by her coaches, who guide her with patience and passion every day. She is inspired by the elite skaters that she sees every weekend during Sun Valley on ice. Off ice, she’s inspired by her family who support her every step of the way, and by athletes who show resilience, kindness, and a strong work ethic in everything they do.
Olivia‘s grit, determination and ability to push through setbacks with grace has showed incredible maturity. It isn’t the medal that has made me proud, it is her heart, her courage and the way she never gives up.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
