What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love that dance allows me to express my emotions without having to put them into words. It gives me a way to be vulnerable without speaking. Each movement tells a story. I love flag football because it’s so much more than just running plays or moving up and down the field. It’s where my heart feels full—with the best teammates and coaches. The little moments—laughing during warmups, the pre-game energy, and cheering too loud for each other are what make it the best part of my week.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dance teacher, Miss Steph, inspires me to never give up on my goals and to push beyond my limits. She’s taught me that even if I can’t do something today, with hard work and dedication, I’ll get there. Her belief in me helps me believe in myself. She shows me what it means to work hard, stay positive, and support others.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

In January 2024, Olivia dislocated her toe—what seemed minor was not and required surgery, forcing her to miss her first dance competition. She feared she'd miss out on school flag football tryouts (a new PIAA sport that year) and her rec season too. But with unstoppable determination and grit, Olivia crushed recovery, made the school team, had an incredible rec season, rocked two dance competitions, and made it back en pointe just in time for recital. Her strength blows me away every day!
