What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the consistency and the hard work that comes with playing basketball. He loves to succeed and to make it big, which is what keeps him going. He also wants to use basketball to get him self in the best position possible in life.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Xavien Lee inspires my son because he used his basketball pro to get into the one of the most prestigious of school in the country. My son also wants to use his skills and hard work to get into the best college possible to set him up for his future.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When my son got into Walter Payton college prep in Chicago. He used his hard work and determination to get into the best high school in the state his hard work that has shown throughout his journey makes me the proudest.
