Winning MVP for his flag football team and representing Nova Scotia in nationals fuels his passion. What drives Owen most is the opportunity to grow as an athlete, push his limits, and be part of something bigger with his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Owen is inspired by athletes like kyrie Irving and DK Metcalf, who showcase incredible work ethic, focus, and determination. Off the field, his coaches and teammates push him to constantly improve and stay humble. Owen admires those who overcome obstacles and keep striving for excellence, just like his role models. Their dedication motivates him to push his limits and stay committed to his goals, both in sports and life.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

proudest moment came when he won MVP for his junior high flag football team after leading them to a 1st place finish. The recognition was a testament to his hard work, leadership, and dedication to the game. It was a culmination of countless hours of practice and effort, and it made him realize how far he’s come as an athlete. Representing Nova Scotia at the flag football nationals further boosted his confidence and made him even more determined to keep improving.
