You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
He loves the idea of competing and training to get better. He embraces the journey and puts in the work to get there. He also loves the team aspect of competing. He would do anything for his teammates both on and off the field.
His family and teammates. He doesn’t want to let anyone down and will do anything to ensure he doesn’t. But he also recognizes winning isn’t everything. It’s the journey and the ability to re bound to become better the next time.
What makes me the proudest is watching is commitment to improving and doing so while staying positive. When he has a tough game, makes mistakes, or has failures he embraces those and works harder. He’s had baseball games where he didn’t have his best games at the plate. He then goes home and immediately starts hitting balls off the tee. The biggest thing though is he remains positive and is always encouraging his teammates. Even when they’re down big in games. Never gives up.
