My son says the joy that fills his heart and body every time he steps into those white lines, he loves the competitive aspect of fighting for everything on the field and off the field.
He says he inspires himself and see’s himself as inspiration because he’s overcome 2 major surgeries, but he still cherishes the game, has the grit and determination to continue to push himself, and wants to only be on a field everyday; night and day !
At this point in his career, the moment that makes me proudest is when he was the only player in his age group, out of the whole state, selected to represent our state at the regional level. He did not get to play because between the selection and the game is when he got injured and had his first knee surgery.
