Payton has worked very hard to form a partnership with her ex-racehorse. There’s been a lot of sweat and tears becoming a team together.

Payton loves the adrenaline of flying over jumps and finishing knowing her and Willie have given it their best.
There are a ton of top riders she follows and respects but her favorite is probably Mia Farley because she brought her own Thoroughbred from the beginning levels all the way up. She also is inspired by her first trainer, for his passion and dedication to Eventing. And of course her current trainer, who participated in the Paris Olympics. He is always expecting 110% of himself as well as his students.
Her sport has 3 phases, Dressage, stadium & cross country. Her & Willie’s biggest obstacle has been dressage. Willie can be a handful and it usually shows up in Dressage. The last show they did, they scored better (not great) but Payton kept her composure and didn’t get frustrated.
