Stephen Curry is Pedro’s daily inspiration, both on and off the court. Like Curry, he's a three point shooter—and interestingly, he also experienced late puberty and delayed growth spurts . Curry’s determination and strong Christian values have made him a powerful role model in Pedro’s life.
The day he left his own 7th grade team—already heading to the championship game—to step in for the 8th grade team, who were down to just four players due to injuries, was a moment we’ll never forget. He missed out on the trophy and the celebration with his team, but he walked away fulfilled, knowing he had stepped up when others needed him most. As parents, we couldn’t be prouder of the heart and character he showed that day.
