What I love most about dancing and playing lacrosse is how I feel when I’m doing them—strong, happy, and totally myself. When I dance, I can express all my emotions and tell a story without saying a word. It feels like flying, and I love working with my team to make something beautiful together. With lacrosse, I love the teamwork and energy, the speed, and that feeling when we we all come together to win or just have fun trying. Both make me feel brave, powerful, and proud of who I am.
For dance, I’m inspired by the older girls on my team—their grace, strength, and kindness make me want to be better every day. They’re amazing dancers and even more amazing people. In lacrosse, my teammates push me to work my hardest. I feel strong when we play together. I especially love when my cousin Ruby is on my team—we cheer each other on, never give up, and always play with heart and love.
I’m most proud of Penelope every time she steps on stage for a solo—each performance is a chance for her to grow, shine, and share her beauty and grace. On the lacrosse field, she transforms into a powerhouse, digging deep to find her strength and heart, always pushing herself to lift her team and fight for the win. Her passion, courage, and love for what she does inspire me every single day.
