Peter loves the adrenaline rush and physical challenge that sports bring. He thrives on the exercise and the energy of competition, but what he values even more is the camaraderie motivating his teammates, celebrating their successes, and forming lasting friendships through shared goals and hard work. Wrestling holds a special place in his heart because of the independence it requires. When he’s out on the mat, it’s just him and his opponent.Every move, every decision depends on him.
My family inspires me because they always support me no matter what and push me to do my best. My friends inspire me too because we all work hard together and motivate each other to get better. I also look up to older athletes, especially the high school kids who help us out. They’ve been where I am now, and I learn a lot from how they train, how they handle challenges, and how they encourage younger athletes like us.
One of my proudest moments was when I came from behind and took first place at the very last second in a dirt bike race. It was so intense and I gave it everything I had. Crossing that finish line in first felt amazing, and it showed me how hard work and not giving up can really pay off.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
