Peter’s biggest inspiration is his little sister, who has sickle cell SC disease. Watching her fight through pain and hospital stays with courage has fueled his drive. He knows sports may never be easy for her, so he pushes himself harder, not just for his dreams, but to be strong for her. Her strength keeps him grounded, focused, and full of purpose.
What makes me most proud of Peter isn’t a game-winning shot or a medal—it’s his humility. No matter how well he plays, he’s the first to lift up a teammate in a slump. His work ethic is unmatched, but it’s his heart for others and quiet leadership that truly shine
