You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
The thing my son loves the most about playing soccer is his endless love for the sport and commitment to getting better on the field. He continuously works to make his physical and technical abilities better and has achieved his goal of getting the opportunity to play soccer in college. We are very proud of him as parents and cannot wait to see him kill it on the pitch in college.
My son is most inspired by his father, although they play different main sports, my son has the thought without a doubt that he needs to make his father proud. Both through his abilities and his maturity. Through the pitch and the classroom, to make his father proud is what he aspires for.
The moment that makes me the proudest of my son’s athletic journey is that of seeing him start as a sophomore in his first ever varsity high school soccer game. This made me really proud of my son because I knew the determination and commitment he put in to earn that spot, and then seeing him earn that position on the team is just unbelievable. Because I knew the courage he needed to stand up and perform in that position and that made me so proud.
