Pono played only in high school. He is academically doing well in school. He has come a long way.

He likes to challenge himself. He started this sport late. We lived in Alaska and he couldn’t play pop warmer because he was a big kid. So he played his first year in high school. He came along way because we are very supportive so we put him in football camps to improve himself on his foot work. He enjoys playing football and his academics is very good.
He looks up to all of the island boys/men that became successful because they hustled to get where they are today.
He pushes himself to become better every single day. Off season he has been working out and going to all the football camps we put him in. He loves challenging other players that he hasn’t gone against.
