Receive Text UpdatesI asked Preston this question and he replied, “I love pitching but I love the game more. The ability to go have fun and do what I love. Even if you lose, it's not the end of the world. One error, just move on and worry about the next play. You can always comeback from a setback.”
“My dad because he is a great father and coach. My dad doesn’t just care about winning. He develops every player he coaches and teaches them life lessons too. He is the best and I hope I can be just like him one day.” When Preston graduated kindergarten, they were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. Preston’s answer was simple- he wanted to be his dad when he grew up.
Every game Preston exudes leadership, poise, confidence, and outstanding sportsmanship. Win or lose, strike out or home run, he is a master of his emotions and the mental game, maintaining composure even in the most intense situations. Preston pitched a complete 6 inning shutout game in the TN State Cal Ripken Championship game. He threw 55 pitches allowing only 2 hits with 5 strikeouts helping his 12U all star team punch their ticket to the Southeastern Regional Tournament.
