My son got the city of Cranbrook youth citizenship award. He made it to the U16 BC hockey provincial camp. He is 14 years Old.

The fun of skating, the excitement of scoring goals, the teamwork and camaraderie, and the physical activity it provides. The combination of high-speed skating, precise stick handling , powerful shots, and acrobatic saves by goaltenders creates a thrilling game to play. I also like being a leader and pumping my hockey team up.
Johnny Gaudreau: he is small like me, hard worker , I liked his drive for the game and how hard he had to try to get to the level he was at!
When Preston got called chubby at hockey and he came back the next year achieving a personal goal, to comeback stronger, healthier and better.This demonstrates resilience, determination, and heart. Proud of him for doing this on his own ,always giving it 100%effort. I don’t have to wake him up for training at 6am, he wakes me up. He made it to the U16 provincial camp, u16 BC cup, AEHL south division all star for forwards, and WHL camp because of his dedication of not missing a workout.
