For football it’s the adrenaline, the brotherhood, the energy under the lights. He loves the grind, the contact, and the feeling of leaving it all on the field. It pushes him mentally and physically in a way nothing else can. For baseball it’s the strategy, the patience, the pressure of big moments. He loves the challenge of the game within the game, the discipline it takes, the quiet intensity, and how it rewards hard work and focus over time. For both, it’s the love of competition.
It takes something special to play at a high level in one sport, let alone two. But behind this elite football and baseball player are parents who never let him settle for “just good enough.” We taught him that hard work doesn’t have an offseason. That discipline matters more than talent. That you show up every day and give your best. We didn’t push him to be the best for them, we inspired him to chase greatness for himself. Our love is steady, belief constant, and sacrifices endless.
He’s an elite high school athlete, a pitcher/outfielder and quarterback, but it’s not just about talent. He’s hearing impaired, but that’s never been a limitation, only motivation. He works harder than anyone else. He studies the game, trains with discipline, and shows up early and stays late. He leads by example. He’s humble, coachable, and respectful. He doesn’t complain, he competes. And above all, he’s a great kid. Kind, driven, and resilient. He doesn’t want handouts, just a chance.
