You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Qualyn loves playing his sports because he is a competitive athlete. He loves to win and loves the challenges that it comes with. He also loves the rewards that are rewarded with the sport and strives to become the best player he can be.
If he had an inspiration , it would be Jalen Pitre from the Houston Texans. Jalen Pitre is from the same city Qualyn is from. He also plays the same position he plays which is “Safety”. He gives back to his community all the time. Recently he donated to one of his old schools. He also was not looked at in High School so Qualyn knows it is possible to make it to the big leagues even when his ranked in the state.
One moment that makes me proudest was when Qualyn tried out for his high school track team. He wanted to quit so badly because it was his first time running track. Qualyn has always said that if he ran track he was gonna quit but he surely did not when he made the team. He got through the conditioning and made it past the season. After that Qualyn loves to run track.
