Quentin has always loved basketball. He works long hours during offseason with older athletes to raise his game to a higher level. His heart is in the game as he never quits. Quentin sets the example in school , community and basketball court. He is a winner and deserves the recognition of Youth athlete of the year. He has many awards for outstanding achievements in school, community , football and basketball . He is a great role model to his brother and teammates.
Quentin father inspires him the most by leading by example. Quentin trust his father and listen to his instructions. His father always stress the importance of excelling in life and has provided the ground work for him to succeed. He lays the groundwork for Quentin to succeed by challenging him to be better.
The one moment that made me proudest was during a championship game. The opposing team couldn’t stop Quentin from scoring so they resorted to hard fouls to take Quentin out of the game. Quentin picked himself off the floor every time , playing with an injury to lead his team to victory. That determination was my proudest Quentin moment.
