You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
I love playing football because it pushes me to improve every day physically, mentally, and emotionally. It teaches discipline, hard work, and to keep going even when things get tough. On the field, I feel free like I can give everything I’ve got and leave all my energy out there. Football isn’t just about scoring or winning; it’s about being part of a team, learning to trust others, and knowing they’ve got your back too.
My current head football coach, Obie Woods, inspires me every day. Years ago, he made the decision to give back to his community by becoming a youth football coach. Since then, he has continued his journey, dedicating himself to helping young boys believe in themselves, work hard, and play the game they love. What makes his story even more inspiring is that he did all of this while balancing his family and a full-time career in IT. His commitment, passion, and leadership push me.
Quentin, the smallest boy on the field, made a game-saving tackle on 4th and goal while playing up an age group and on a brand new team. This was his first time playing on a travel team after spending years at the recreational level. What a moment it was for us!
