What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Q loves the physicality and challenge of soccer. He thrives on pushing himself alongside teammates who share his passion for the game. Whether it’s a win or a tough loss, being on the pitch is where Q feels most alive. Every practice, every match—he’s growing, learning, and loving every moment.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kilian Mbappé inspires me because he’s fast, skilled, and works incredibly hard. He never gives up and always pushes himself to be better, which motivates me to train harder too. Off the field, he stays humble and gives back to others, showing that character matters as much as talent. I look up to him not just for how he plays, but for how he leads and carries himself in life.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Q is proud of how he handles adversity. After being called the N-word in a tournament, he didn’t let it shake him. Instead, he asked that the other player be given a chance to learn. “He probably chose a hateful word when he meant an angry one.” His club said, “Q’s words show a level of insight and compassion beyond his years. He represents the best of what we hope to foster in youth sport.“
