What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I asked her why and her response was “it is my sport and I feel like I belong on the field”. She is constantly working on spins, full pitching, batting or just working out. Gaining the muscles necessary to make sure she is prepared for what the season brings. She is dedicated to making sure she gives 100% to the game she loves. She tries to inspire the younger athletes to love the game as much as she does by working with them at workouts, batting and overall understanding of the game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Raegan is inspired by those around her. She looks for coaches and fellow athletes to challenge her and make her a better player. It is always great to hear mutiple coaches approach her and hear them comment on her improvements and know that they were part of her growth. Her Grandparents, parents and siblings have encouraged her to believe in herself and be the best she can be. Raegans determination to achieve her goals has inspired us as well.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Raegan developed little league elbow late 2023 and was in a full arm cast for two weeks and had a 12 week recovery. This was detrimental to her as she could not pitch, bat or throw. She was lost and defeated, watching others play a game she loved. She attended every game cheering on her teammates but crying on the home. She put in hours of physical therapy exercises and came back stronger than before both physically and mentally.
