You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Raylen is competitive. As the younger sibling, he has always felt the need to measure up to his older brother. He has since found his own identity in sports and has made a name for himself in his youth football league that he has played in since 1st grade. Along with being a stellar athlete, he is also a straight A student. His teachers have recognized him for his excellent reading and vocabulary skills as well as his proficiency in math. He recently added chess to his long list of activities.
Without a doubt, Raylen’s biggest inspiration is his brother, Roy Jr. he has him saved in contacts as “Bro Coach,” which symbolizes the way he sees his brother another one of his coaches. He strives to make him proud in everything he does, both in sports and school. Every sport Roy Jr has played, Raylen has tried as well. As their father, I’m proud of the bond they share and I do everything I can to keep them close.
Raylen had an outstanding football season his 2nd year of playing. He scored multiple touchdowns (most are on video) and helped lead his team in winning their league championship. This year will be his first year playing in the A Division, which is the group for the oldest players in the youth league. As one of the only 5 year veterans in the league, he has officially earned the title of “Iron Cat”.
