His dad. He pushes him to be the best he can be at everything he sets his mind to. He puts in countless hours as an assistant coach and at home training with him to become better.
All the hard work every day between working out to get stronger, and spending time at the batting cages when not at practice, really paid off at World Series. He hit a couple home runs and then he was really tested in the semi finals. We were tied and they loaded the bases and he was up to bat. He hit a grand slam, winning the game and sending his team to the championship. I’ve never cried like I did, watching him and his reaction to what just happened. He was so proud of himself.
