Reginald loves the teamwork and the bond he shares with his teammates the most. He enjoys the discipline, the challenge, and the adrenaline rush that comes with each game. Football gives him a sense of purpose and teaches him responsibility, leadership, and how to stay focused under pressure. More than anything, he loves the feeling of making a big play and hearing the crowd cheer — it motivates him to keep pushing himself to be better every time he steps on the field
Reginald is deeply inspired by his big brother, Jakai, who passed away two years ago. Jakai’s strength, love, and memory continue to guide Reginald every day — on and off the field. When Reginald plays football, he plays with heart, knowing Jakai is watching over him. Jakai’s spirit gives him the motivation to push through tough practices, stay disciplined, and be a leader to those around him. Off the field, Jakai inspires Reginald to be kind, focused, and strong.
One of the proudest moments I’ve had as Reginald’s parent was when he was named MVP of his football team. Seeing all his hard work, late practices, and dedication pay off was an unforgettable feeling. He earned that recognition through discipline, heart, and a deep drive that comes from within — and I know his brother Jakai would be so proud of him too. That moment reminded me just how strong and focused Reginald truly is, and it showed the world the kind of leader he’s becoming
