I like playing baseball because it’s fun and I get to make new friends. My team is awesome and we help each other all year. I cheer for my teammates when they hit the ball or make a good play, and they cheer for me too! Baseball can be hard sometimes, but I like that. I always try to practice at home and get better at the stuff we learn. I love being part of a team!
My coaches inspire me because they know so much about baseball and always help me get better. They take the time to work with me, teach me new skills, and cheer me on. They believe in me, and that makes me want to try my hardest. I’m really thankful for them and everything they do for our team!
One late practice the kids on the team were not giving it their all and then coaches asked them if they really wanted to be there Reid responded with “Yes. If I had to choose video games, anything else, or baseball I would always choose baseball”. As his parents it’s amazing to see his dedication to the sport.
