Reina absolutely loves being part of a softball team! She loves contributing to her team winning, but she also loves trying her best and she has a love of competition. She takes in any and all coaching. Her coaches love her because of her drive. She’s constantly cheering on her teammates. She also encourages them whether they are up or down. She has a competitive spirit and loves always being out achieving her goals, doing her best and having that constant drive.
Her father inspires her off the field. She enjoys practicing with him and he devotes so much time with her. She loves making her father proud on the field. On the field, she is inspired by her coach. She saw something in Reina from the beginning, especially her skill set, and she has encouraged Reina to become the best athlete she can be. Reina finds her to be an inspiration because she herself was a superstar student athlete back in her high school in college years.
There are so many moments that make us proud, but I guess a moment that would make us the proudest is seeing her overcome being bullied, and seeing the moment where she was finally having fun and playing the sport that she loves and having confidence in herself. We will never forget when she hit her first grand slam home run over the fence, it was as if all her dreams came true in that one moment and we were just so happy for her. We will never forget that.
