He loves the journey, from high to low. He loves the people that have encouraged him to do better and have faith that he can do great. He is hungry and feeds on when he succeeds and learns when he fails.
His dad inspires him because he always pushes him to do better and is always there to help him. He said “dad works all day in the heat but will always come home and take him to practice or will practice with him in the back yard, doesn’t matter if dad is tired”. He wants to make his dad proud.
The moment that makes me proud is when one of his team mates were struggling on the field, he seen him in the dugout in the corner praying, Remi went and sat next to him and said “can I pray with you?”. At just 10 years old and seeing him do that is something bigger than baseball.
