You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
If you ask Remington he will say, "it's just fun". He knows there is a job to do and he does it the best he can. He has never left a field without giving it everything he has. Football and baseball push him mentally and physically to be the best version of himself. He loves learning something new each season. Off the field he struggles with Tourettes Syndrome, but on the field he's a regular kid that excels athletically. He ran 5 touchdowns in one football game, pitched a no hitter in baseball.
My coach, Steve, inspires me. He is always so calm in intense games. He pushes me to be better. When I get nervous he comes to the mound and tells me something funny to redirect my thoughts. When I wasn't doing so good at batting he would say, "you'll get there bub" and I have! I have learned alot this season with him as my coach.
Watching Remington with his teammates. He is always talking to them, pushing them to give just a little more. We like to jokingly call him Coach. He has been named MVP several times. As a parent that is what you hope for. That others would see the effort, hussle, heart, and positivity that Remington brings to any field.
