The combination of Horse and athlete, chaps, Spurs, and hair collide as a beautiful and wild dance for eight seconds. Bareback riding is the most physically demanding sport in the world of Rodeo. Rhett trains and practices every day in his art. Bareback is intense with no days off.
His greatest inspiration is six time world champion Kaycee Feild. He is a great, inspirational, motivational, driven, competitive mentor. He wants to see the sport of Rodeo excel and inspires everyone around him.
A year ago he won the world title in Junior High bareback riding. Wining both 1st and 2nd rounds and reserve in the short go winning the world title. Thr most impressive was him giving his back tag number and short round buckle to a family that had lost their son to SIDS. It was a very spiritual experience for him and the whole week was centered around others. Cheering them on and supporting others. He was more proud of his teammates for their accomplishments than he was his own. Champion
