My baby sister Vanna inspires me every day. She has Down Syndrome, but that doesn’t stop her from being my biggest fan. When I hear her yell ‘Bubba!’ from the fence, it means everything to me. Her smile, her joy, and her love make me feel brave, even on my hardest days. I play for her.
One moment that makes me proud is seeing how he wears his heart on his sleeve—always more worried about his friends being part of the game than winning. He cheers the loudest for others, includes everyone, and reminds me that kindness is the biggest victory of all.
