My son is the athlete of the year because he pushes himself and he pushes his team. He works hard both on the field and off the field.

What he loves the most about running track is being able to interact with people who look up to him but also having a great connection with teammates and joking around and being able to have fun and not be serious all the time.
Someone who inspires me on the track would have to be Christian Coleman. He is one of the best and Icompare myself to him. However, off the track he would have to say me, his mom and great grandma. He says that we work so hard to provide for him and our whole family and seeing that makes him want to reach his goals so he can give back to us anyway he can.
His Junior year is the season I am most proud of because during the offseason he was determined to win states and hit certain goals and when they all finally happened he was just Thanking God, the highest, for the path he lead him on and hoping the path is somewhat the same for next year to come.
