My kid is the athlete of the year because he lives, eats, and breathes sports. His excels in wrestling, baseball, shot put, and football.

Ricardo loves to be on the field or the mat. He enjoys competing and the friendships he’s made along the way. He looks up to and loves his coaches. He loves learning and putting all his knowledge towards the game or competition.
His main inspiration came from a team member in wrestling, Lance Briseno. He pushed him to be the best he could be, pushing him to push harder. He was inspired by all the coaches he’s had. He is also inspired by the professional players he sees on the NFL, MLB, WWE, and the Olympics.
I am proud of him getting an award for JV Outstanding Heavyweight. He worked and practiced hard, and being his first year in wrestling he made it far. In baseball he hit a grand slam but the fascinating thing was that it went so far out the field that everyone was in awe. It almost hit a car parked across the street of the field. In football, he was defense and having no experience he played really well. Not many could bring him down. I am beyond proud. He is also humble and a good kid.
