Ricci loves to play football because he loves the art of it . He loves the competition. He also loves the family that he built on and off the field . Playing travel flag football he has made brothers, met committed coaches that push him to his full potential and also team mom and dads that look after him as their own . He has made bonds that are going to last for a life time .
Ricci father Malik Wright has inspired him to play football . Growing up his dad played football for Texas southern and he wanted to follow in his footsteps .
As Ricci mother , seeing him on the field and doing what he loves and genuinely locked in and happy makes me the proudest . Ricci has shown true passion for football . He doesn’t care if he is sick or whatever he doesn’t miss a game or sit out. Ricci had won a championship game for his team with a 102 fever before and gave his all . And that is what makes me proud of him . He is fighter .
