You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
What I love most about baseball is the intensity of being on the mound and the focus it takes in center field. Coming back from an arm injury made me appreciate every moment even more. It taught me resilience and how to lead from any position. Whether I’m pitching or making a play in the outfield, I give everything I’ve got for my team.
My biggest inspiration is my dad. He’s the one who first put a glove in my hand and taught me what it means to work hard and stay humble. He never let me give up during my injury and always reminded me that setbacks are just part of the game and life. His support and example push me to be better every day, on and off the field.
One of the proudest moments in my journey was stepping back on the mound for the first time after my arm injury. There was a lot of doubt during recovery, but I stayed focused, worked hard, and didn’t give up. That first pitch back reminded me why I love the game and proved to myself that I could overcome anything.
